Okay, well, I thought I would write a little now, since I am at the school waiting to go out for the legendary 'drinking party for new-comers'. I am not much in the mood for drinks though. Today was our health check-up and I started feeling car sick on the ride home. I slept for about an hour but I still don't feel in the best of ways. Speaking of sleep, I couldn't sleep more than three hours last night! What a shitty night! I sat on my window sill and journaled and read Geez and cried...so all in all it was a good night. haha. Awake from 2:30 till 7:30. At least I was able to get acquainted with the night life here in Korea, the people were out walking the streets at all hours. Well, I think I am feeling some culture shock. Looking out the window all I see is an unfamiliar world. All the buildings and smells and sights and people are so unfamiliar and overwhelming for me. I will be happy once this all settles down and becomes more routine for me. Also, it will be nice to get into our place so we can develop a sense of 'home'. We walked about this morning and saw some Korean mountains in the distance. It was our first really hot day. I saw some people using umbrellas for the shade, so maybe I will have to get into that. Things with Nash are going really well. I don't think I would be able to handle this stress and anxiety of transition if it were not for her. Nothing feels real yet, I am still floating through this all, although it is not exactly a dream, perhaps more nightmarish at times. Bah! Well, I think I will go.
Have a great night dear friends.
Katelyn.
